Default 4" mcgoughlys flip into 5"+

I have a 4" mcgaughlys flip kit installed with big front hanger lift and stock shackle. My question is if I removed the big hanger how low would it be? Would it even work? and would I have major drive line issues (2 piece shaft)? if its too low I don't mind using air bags to bring it up a bit, just want to make it lower next year without buying whole new setup..

Just bag it and be done. Sounds like your going to eventually end up there. I've been down this road. Good luck!!!

if you put it on the stock front shackle it would go 2 more inches lower, not sure what happens to drive line.

I'd love too. Just don't know if I really want to cut it up being its my daily driver. Rather slam it with helper bags in rear for hauling.

I called DJM yesterday. I have the 4'' rear flip kit. he said I didn't have to put the rear hangers on if i didn't want to and it will drop it another 1.5''-2'' in the rear. So thats what I'm going to do. I am looking at rear bag kits right now and still need help on which one to get. a lot that I'm finding mount on top of the axle. Wont work with a flip kit so I'm still searching.

The front coils you cut I would replace that coil with a ground force coil if I were you. The ground force coils give you a 1.5'' drop in the front. there many ways to do it that i have found with in the last few weeks of research. these are just a few options.

DJM Lower control arm and Ground force Coil

Belltech Drop struts and Ground force coil

Me personally I'm going to go with DJM lower control arms and ground force coils and the rear flip kit and an airbag set up still not sure which one. ( only difference is mine is a 4x4 )

As far as I know there is only one bolt on kit for (airlift) tow bags on a dropped 50.
