Default 2013 Platinum w Rough Country 2" lowering shackles

Wanted to get rid of that ole "Dukes Of Hazard" rake my truck had. I went w the Rough Country 1-2" shackles and was figuring on using the 1" setting but went w the 2" setting instead. Didn't measure before but the rear of the truck now sits 7/8" higher than the front which makes me happy.

And no, I don't pull a boat or load the bed up w anything. My old man lives five minutes away and has a newer 4X4 F350 dually if I need some towing capacity.

Anyways, hope these pics help anyone looking for a comparison.

Before(stock)

After on 2" setting

Update: after getting the truck on level ground it was perfectly level, so I started all over again and went w the 1" setting this time and now I'm sitting 1" higher than the front in the rear. That's what I was going for.

LOL, that bad boy finds itself on construction sites every now and then so I can't go any lower.

Seems like a lot of work for 1" but if you are happy that is what matters. A 2/4 is just fine for construction sights. You actually ground clearance doesn't change since the axles don't get any closer to the ground. anyhow again if you are happy that is #1 priority.

Why do a 2/4 when you can do a 3.5/5.5!!! Lol

How are the Rough Country shackles holding up so far? They're quite a bit less expensive than most
