1) drop truck on ground
2) unloosen rear shackles
3) if you tighten the shackle in the air and drop truck down it binds causing the rear end not to come back

I wish it was that easy lol....

I had to add shims between the front brackets to account for the differences in the frame from side to side that don't allow the axle to sit even . And buy new bolts... I'm glad djm tech support emailed me back

LoL

I helped him lower the truck. The forward leaf spring brackets on the passenger side were the problem, you could almost fit a pinion shim wedge in between the two! Faulty bracket...

We only snugged tightened the rear shackle bolts...not my first rodeo

Came out nice otherwise!

+1, you don't have to let the truck rest 100%, but the rear end and suspension should be in stock position

poly bushings you always want full weight on it when you do final torque just the way I do it for the past 18 years.

Ya, the hardest part (the drivers side) came out great and then the pass side wasnt even coming close to coming together on that bracket. Even with the truck on jacks the parts just didn't match uo.

I even made sure we layed out all the parts in the kit before install. I even matched the holes on the leaf spring drop brackets to the pics and a few pics online...

That was the whole reason I welded spring plates to my axle for a flip kit, who wants to deal with a garbage kit? Dont get me wrong I love yalls control arms but your flip kits are a joke...no hard feelings

out of all the kits sold on here ive done the djm bar far has less issues. You can dial in the flip with pinion while the djms you need to keep adding shims. I install and deal with both and there is stuff I like and dislike on each kit.

Either way as a vendor I back up all my sales and jeff the owner at djm and also mike and mark are great to work with as well as roel at belltech.
