The dealership greased it not too long after I bought the truck and the guy told me the issue should never come back. It took a while but it did come back. It's definitely odd that lowering the truck eliminated the bump though. I didn't grease anything while lowering it.

I want to remove all the chrome and emblems like you did. But, if I take the time to do all that I would also shave my door handles lol. I am unsure on what I want to do lol. Your truck looks awesome with everything removed.

If I had it to do all over again, I would buy the Lariat and then replace or hydro-dip the horrible wood grain bits on the interior.

Get Lucas Grease heavy duty red and grease slip yoke splines. after a while the grease will get squeezed out and you have to redo it. once grease is gone. you will get that BUMP again. Make sure you mark the Driveshaft before removing to put back in same location

I'm not sure I understand the question, or you're not understanding what I'm saying.
The OEM carrier bracket is cut off of the cross member and then the OEM carrier housing is bolted directly to the cross member. There are no aftermarket parts involved in the carrier relocation except for two bolts.
The bolts included in my kit were 2.75" long which was WAY to long. I went to Home Depot and bought 2" bolts with nylon nuts to replace the bolts included in the kit.

I rear ended someone a while back and ended up getting a full repaint while the truck was in the shop. It took way too long but the end result helps make up for the time lost without the truck.
The bedcaps were missing when this photo was taken but everything's finished now and the truck is home.
It's come a long way from the max-tow platinum look in the first post! The fender badges and antenna have been shaved, the body side moulding was removed and all holes welded. I took the easy way out on the tailgate and traded someone with a non-Platinum that wanted the Platinum look.
