Default 2" Drop Shackles

i just ordered some of these for my truck, was going to lower the whole truck but decided to level the back out first to see if i was going to like that. then i can always add the front drop later. can someone tell me if just dropping the back will cause any problems with pinion angle or anything? i have read some people used pinion shims, some didn't. my truck is a 2010 supercab, will i need to use pinion shims? and if so, where do those mount?

2 inches should no cause any issues with angles.

Pinion shims would go between the axle and the spring. But you should not need them.

I have 3 Inch leaf springs and 1 inch shackles on my truck. And don't have pinion shims.

Should not need to. There is alot of travel in the stock shocks..

I should change mine with 4 inches, but I have not. But I dont have any concerns with mine..

I'm no expert but the Ground Force shackle kits come with shims, I assume for a reason.

Good point Stick895.

I've been reading this forum since I switched to Ford and bought a 2010 FX2. There's a wealth of great contributors within this site...unlike the wannabe Tampawrong. Don't let a DB like that get to you. He prolly hates on folks daily.
