Default 2/3 drop, 20 inch wheels and better traction?

So, we have our 02 2wd xlt... it has been lowered for years and we have hauled the horse trailer for about 3 years with it. No problems... until now. The new place we board has lots of snot slippery ground. The current tires on the 20 inch wheels are fine for most things, but absolutely suck on this surface. We are trying to figure out what tire to get that will work for better traction, but not be too big for the space/wheel combo we currently have.

Anyone out there running a tire/20" combo on a 2/3 drop that gets the job done while hauling a trailer in some goo?

Thanks!
