1-2 drop on an 09 STX? What to get?

1-2 drop on an 09 STX? What to get?
I blew out my stock struts/shocks going a little too fast on some logging roads so I'm due for a suspension refresh.. based on what I've read Belltech seems to be the best buy but I wanted to run this by the forum before I commit to a bad setup. Heres what I came up with:
Looking to get better street handling I figure a 1" front 2" back drop will give me a foot of ground clearance all around from what I measured. I occasionally haul my bike in the back so I'm not sure if I should commit to a 2-2 drop.
For the front 1" or 2" drop:
25001BLT Lowering Strut, Adjustable 1",2",3"
Stock springs or buy aftermarket? H&R has a kit at 370? Belltech has one as well at about 200
For the rear 2" drop:
6406BLT 2" Shackle
221355BLT OEM-fit, street performance shock no measurements?
OR?
2211EE 13.5" collapsed, 21.5" extended
2213EE 14.5" collapsed, 23.5" extended

Also wasn't sure if I need any sort of hardware kit from the local auto parts store like when you do calipers or if everything is reusable.
Any factory tq specs would be helpful as well thanks!
