Default 04 F-150 RCSB Lowered 2.5"/5" on Saleen Wheels

I've been wanting to lower my truck for some time now and it's finally going to happen. Since about October of last year, I had 2" GroundForce shackles installed. Definitely much better looking than stock, but now it's time for a more dramatic change.

Right now I have 2.5" DJM Control Arms and a 5" Belltech Flip Kit ready to go on. The arms will be going on Wednesday and the flip kit on Friday or Saturday. I'll keep the thread updated as it goes on.

For now, here are some before and after pictures of the 2" shackles. I have since switched from the Roush 20" wheels to Saleen 23" wheels, so that's what will be on once the drop is installed.

Looks good , gonna look better ...
Really diggin' on the new rims . Keep us posted ...

I'm waiting for the shop to call and schedule my install , they're just waiting on parts . I'd do it myself , except that I'm already pulling 14-16 hour days .

Those saleens look perfect on there, but are going to be so much more so once that drop is done. That'll be insane! Can't wait to see finished pics.

You'll have a killer looking setup once it's installed! Are you still running dip on the wheels? I'm jealous every time I see a set of Saleens, haha. Maybe I'll run across a set one day.

Thanks! You're truck looks amazing as well! I still have the dip on the wheels. I'm probably going to keep in on for a couple of weeks after the drop and then take it all off.

Keep your eyes open for a set of wheels. Can't find them easily as I'm sure you've found out!

And as for a general update: The control arms didn't get installed today after all. Too much stuff going on all at once. Soon! Everything is there, just needs to be put on!

FINALLY got some work done on the truck. As of right now, it sits with a 0/5 drop, haha. It was too late to take any decent pictures, so that'll come tomorrow.

For now, here is how the wheel sits in the rear.

That's awesome. Although, I preferred the wheels chrome.
