Default 04 with a 3/5 drop?

New to the Ford suspension world. Looking to drop mine down some. I'm thinking 3/5.

Can anyone tell me if this can be done without a flip kit or notching out anything? Really not looking into doing serious mods. Would like to remove and replace parts for the drop.

Also, what brand is best priced and what does it usually run?

Again...new to the F150 suspension. All I've ever done is GM products. Help me out.

My dad got a 3/5 belltec and it does require a flip kit in the back (rides like crap do to not notching the frame) but looks good

flip kit are bolt-on. no mods needed.

ride just like stock when unload.(need to swap the stock bump stop with a pancake one.)
If planning to load/tow: install helper bag kit : airlift #39210(or something like this.)

Djm 3/5. I feel like slam air is a must though. No notch.
