I want to know if it is possible to lower my truck with the stock hanger because i notice that the hanger has an empty hole at the bottom and is held on to the top two holes was wondering if it was possible to bolt the hanger to the two bottom bolts instead to lower it if so how much of a drop will that give me? Here are some pics if that was confusing lol btw its a 01 supercrew stock height 2wd

wont line up if you move it up. The hangers arent that expensive id just do a hanger kit. I have a 99 with hangers since 99 with no issues so dont worry about something going wrong if you do hangers.

Alright thanks guess i'll have to save up some more money to buy the whole lowering kit.Do those holes have a purppse or they are just there by mistake or what.
