Years back I had a ford 300 CID IL6 with a small Holley 2 bl carb & manifold. Might that fit your need? You might have to look in a vintage performance shop (hotrod shop)

sir that is almost exactly what I am looking for. I was going to just replace it with another 1 bbl due to the fact that I couldn't find a 2 barrel intake.

it wasn't a jab at spelling.. i wasnt thinking pre-1985 il6 carburated engines, just the fuel injected versions. and i can't ask my mom cuz she passed away last month, nor my daughter, who is over in Afghanistan with a CF tank/armory unit.

Take a look at THECARBSHOP.COM. They may be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction. A carb should not difficult to find.
My 2 barrel was from Holley racing applicatons, and was constantly in need of adjustment (fuel/air)

I fhink the intake manifolds will be more difficult to find. You "might" (?) find an adapter for a 2 barrel to stock manitold at J.C. Whitney.

You may have to build your own carb to manifold adapters.

excuse me for being an *** and being soo snappy. Sorry about your mother sir, I lost my dad almost a year ago and thank you for your daughters services I'll always support our troops. And the truck is an 84 f150 a couple years before the fuel injection came out on the 4.9s.

I have one off of an '86 that I took off in '87. Been on a shelf ever since. The truck had about 25K miles on it. I'll get the number off of it if you're interested.
