Cheap Fast Reliable

You can only have 2!

Cheap - OBX

Best - Dynatech, Kook, American Racing

Have heard if way to many leaking issues with OBX there's even a local Ford performance shop that refuses to even install them due I past issues with them.

A lot of guys on this site love OBX but it's a different story in the L/HD boards.

The other ones listed above can be found used to new rangeing from $500-$1500.

OBX buys jigs and replicates old designs. They used to sell JBA designed headers, but never actually improved the designs. Unless you spend the money for quality parts, it's just cheap crap.

Have you seen the list of parts I need?!?! Not in the position to drop $1500 lol. I just want a better sound and maybe a small bump in power. Should I go for shorty headers?

I forgot, you boosted?

IMHO, which some disagree with me but...

Shorties are a waste of money.

Ask the guys on LR, there rule of thumb is LTs are a waste of money on a stockish N/A, even boosted the price involved in a good pair isn't worth the gains until your over 500RWHP. And at that point most are running a built block, heads, cams and 4K aftermarket blower so LT aren't a factor at that point.
