SUPERCHIPS MODEL # 1715 for 96-02 FORD E,F, SUV SERIES v8 and v10 motors

These tuners are used to read diagnostic codes as well as tune specific settings in your vehicle's computer.
I have been told it can work on years outside the ones listed, but PLEASE verify that before bidding to use on a car not listed in the description.
This is the 1715 unit for Fords. Listed to work on E series (minivans), F series (trucks) and SUV series with V8 and V10 engines. It says that excludes 02-03 Explorer and Mountineer.
It is used for not only reading/resetting codes, but also changing shift points, adjusting speedometer to match larger/smaller tires, and computer controlled settings. Your best info would be to Google around for people that use them with your make/model vehicle.
This was used on a F-150, but then before the truck was traded everything was removed/reversed so it is NOT VIN locked and ready to use.
