I have some brand new spare tire hoists for sale. They need minor modification as they are off a different ford vehicle. The hoist itself is identical to ours the only difference is the mounting brackets. All you need to do is grind off the 4 rivets that hold on your hoist brackets and spot weld them onto the other side of the new hoist. I've already done one for my truck and it is perfect. If you are interested shoot me a pm. I want $50 for them and shipping is $13. If you have tried to replace one you know what they cost new, if you can find them. Thx

I know I'm not the only salt belt guy who had a non working spare tire hoist. Get that spare out of your bed and put it were it belongs.

I have two trucks, and both of the spare tire holders are junk. Mine are not riveted on though, they have two bolts kitty corner from each other. My trucks are 2000 models. Your riveted hoist was maybe a 97 or 98? Anyhow, I need one. My dad always told me, never give a person what they're asking for an item. I'll give you $55 shipped for 1 if it will work?

I have 6 if you want one, they work perfect after the bracket switch. I already have one in use on my truck. Also, they don't need a key, they just have a square notch that the end of your bar goes in.

your dads not necessarily wrong but if you've priced these new or even tried to find a good used on that works you'll know this is a decent deal.
