I see now why you don't want to buy a new one. Even with a discount, the darn thing is around $43 or more, depending where you look. It is discontinued, but numerous dealers still have some old stock sitting on their shelves. There isn't a whole lot to the bracket itself. but it probably wouldn't look too good it you were to manufacture your own. without a shop with some good equipment.

Thanks, I'll just keep an eye on the yards around here. I'm sure I can pick one up in Sacramento.
On a side note, has anybody had a dealings with Shockwarehouse?? I ordered the KYB Monomax and haven't been able to get any info back from them. Order is still in processing after two weeks....

Go aftermarket with steel ones.

I ended up canceling my order with Shockwarehouse because I couldn't get a reply back, aggravated me! Since the brackets are cast, I assumed they could not be welded or if they could, It'd look like poo. Aftermarket isn't an economical solution due to the cost. If I ever get around to it I'll call the local scrap yards to see if they have them, closest one with a sunroof ( I need a new gasket, which again is an outrageous price at $90) is about an hour away.
