WANTED: F-150 7700 4x4
Hello everybody,
I´ll fly to San Francisco in about 2 weeks to buy a truck for my family’s road trip in April.
The truck of our choice is an F-150 with the extra payload package and GVWR of 7700lbs in the extended cab version.
I´m scanning craigslist and carsforsale but I cannot find many trucks in this area (+500 miles) to have some alternatives to choose from.
I would be very thankful for any hints and tips you may find or see in someone’s drive way.
Here´s the summary:
Model: F-150
Year: 1997 - 2003
Version: Extended Cab
Drive: 4x4
Engine: 5.4l V8
GVWR: 7700lbs
Truck bed: 6.5
The 7700 models are recognizable on its 7lug wheels and the 7700 writing on the tail gate.
Thanks
Ben

The one from Palo Credo is sold already but I´ve found a nice one in Oregon.
What additional fees do apply for importing a out-of-state vehicle to California?
Is it difficult or complicated?
Happy new year to all of you.

Hey guys,
tomorrow I take the plane to SF and the story gets serious.
I would highly appreciate your help with finding some more trucks.
At the moment I have one very interesting one in Oregon and one with a cracked rear axle in Sacramento. It would be very good to have some more alternatives to choose from. So please keep your eyes open for me during the next days.
Thanks heaps
