I never got a chance to start a build thread on the truck when most of the work was done because it was before I knew about this sight and my computer got destroyed (Don't worry, the pictures weren't all that exciting anyways).

Here's the new parts that it has had - The truck has a southern box and doors, new OEM front fenders, rockers and cab corners (all new metal), paint, coil packs, injectors, manifolds + gaskets and studs, plugs, idler arm, tie rod ends (inner and outer), ball joints all replaced, recent true dual exhaust, tires, rust free bumpers, rebuilt starter, universals and I'm sure there's lots else I'm forgetting.

The truck is a 97, 4.6L V8 4X4 with a 2.5 inch rough country level with 35 inch bfg all terrains (315/75/16). It is a 3 door, XL model with an aftermarket cd player and speakers but besides that, the interior is pretty stock. It does have AC, tilt and cruise, it has rubber floors and it has floor shift 4 wheel drive.

I look after my stuff well and it's always been well maintained it's whole life. It's not a woods truck and hasen't been treated like one, it's a good daily driver but I am looking to move onto another project, preferably one from the 80's. It's a great truck, runs good and although it has 180,000 miles on it it has been freshened up and runs great. $5000

Open to possible trades on something older. I've had my heart set on a 2 wheel drive shorty from the 80's but if you have something you think might interest me, let me know. I already have two motorcycles though so not interested in that, thanks. Send my truck to a good home!

I kinda do too but I have a really bad habit of getting bored with things. I want to buy a near-new f250 for my truck uses (really want a regular cab, 35's) and to pick up a mustang or a shorty 2 wheel drive half ton to mod and dd with. Thinking this money plus some I sat aside will find me a real nice 5.0 or maybe a 73-87 chev and selling a few other things of mine will get me a f250 that I can haul a trailer with and still have 35's.

I do have a good running 350 my father and I built in the shed, here's a little teaser pic before a few things back when it was in my 84 Silverado. I replaced it with a mild 305 to sell and kept the better motor for myself.

Wouldn't mind another one of these. Wish I didn't get "sick of" this one, I'd still have it. I sold it to pay for my 97's build
Oh yeah, Will straight trade for mustang or the right truck. I will throw in a bit of cash if worth more but must be v8.

I will take 4500 cash but that's my absolute bottom line. I have a ton of money and work tied up into this truck, I know it's an old truck but it's a good one. It's never been wrecked, the body work was done due to rust repair.
