Default For Sale BN Dorman Replacement Steering Shaft pn 425-361

Dorman Part Number 425-361 Steering Shaft. Purchased it on 10/11/13 to install in my 2007 F150 after the dealership would not replace under my ESP. I painted the shaft with etching primer and satin black paint. On 10/18/13...instead of installing the steering shaft I traded the truck on a 2013 F150 XLT.

$110 Shipped

Is this what needs to be replaced when you hear the squeaking noise when you are turning. It's very faint but I know I am hearing something.

I'd be interested at $110 shipped to 13736. I can buy it at Amazon for $118 shipped.

Holy crap, I paid $142 shipped 5 weeks ago! My loss your gain.

$115 shipped would be better with the fantastic paint job on it. If you don't feel giving...then I will take $110 shipped.

paypal is tkadlec@nycap.rr.com I can mail it out at the end of the week standard UPS.

I didn't hear a noise, I felt very heavy/labored steering when turning lock to lock that got progressively worse to the point that when taking a right hand turn the steering wheel would not return to center. Dealer verfied it was the lower joint but Ford considers the shaft a wear item and would not warranty. I sprayed the lower joint with WD40 and it loosened up for a week but then started getting stiff again. Its a fairly common issue if you search on the topic. Hope this helps.
