Should be good with a couple coats and a clear coat.. it will chip like any other painted bumper...mine are factory black and they chip...You living on a gravel road will not help you but, that's life.

So the following steps should work:
1) sand with 60 or 80 grit sandpaper
2) prime
3) 2 or 3 coats of paint
4) 2 or 3 coats of clear
Watch it dry, reassemble, and live a good life haha

-----PRICE DROP----
I have 2004 f150 stock chrome front and rear bumpers that I would like to trade for black bumpers. Or willing to sell the front bumper for $125 obo and the rear for $200 obo. Or the set for $275.
I am really wanting to trade for black ones, but if anybody would like some chrome bumpers, they're for sale.
