Lightbulb 04-08 Gloss Silver wood dash kit NIB!

Guys I have a new in box wood dash kit that fits all 04-08 XL, XLT, and STX trucks. This is a huge 54 piece kit that has different pieces to fit all column shift models. NIB and only opened to take these pictures. Never been installed. This kit matches the new steering wheel I have for sale in another post here.

$100 shipped to the lower 48 states. Will definitely make your truck stand out! PM me.

You said "wood dash", yet the picture of the drivers side left power mirror/power door lock piece looks like its satin in color.

You are correct. I called it wood dash because most of the time people search for "wood dash" when they are searching for something like this. I also put the color of the dash (in this case Gloss Silver) in the title so people can search that as well. Most of these kits are made with either a real or fake wood laminate and then stained or painted like this. same goes for the steering wheel. 95% of the time the painted steering wheels are assembled with stacked wood laminate strips that are glued together in a jig and bent in an arc to match the frame of the wheel. Then it is stained or painted to the customers taste.

I used to manufacture and sell kits and steering wheels like these back in the late nineties and two thousands when the van and truck conversion market was in full swing.

Just curious how do these things looked installed? You just peel them and stick them onto the existing pieces of trim? Does it look factory? I went to their website and seen a 42 piece glossy silver kit for $50 - is this the same thing?

This is a 54 piece kit, not the 42. I bought this from an online retailer awhile back. These look really nice once installed. Like an OEM dealer upgrade. Most important thing is to get the surface prepped right. If you use armor all on your dash you are going to have issues. You need rubbing alcohol to get the grease off. The kit also has an adhesion promoter to help it stick. As far as looks go, it's a per person kinda thing. Some don't like it, some love it.

Warning on using the required rubbing alcohol to remove any Armor All from the dash plastics: it also will remove the paint! Once you use rubbing alcohol, theres no turning back; you'll need to apply the pieces, or repaint the surface!
