2005 F150 Supercab 4x4
I'm selling with mixed emotions. I've enjoyed my Ford but as I approach 40 I realize I need to have a mid-life crisis vehicle and a nice Jeep just came available.
So here's what I have:
2005 F150 XLT Supercab 4x4
5.4L V8 with automatic transmission
Stick 4x4 on the floor
Edge Evolution tuner
Power windows, locks, mirrors, and driver's seat
Back up sensors..a must on the next Ford I buy someday
6-disc factory stereo
Console folds up to seat 6
Cold A/C and hot heat
Westin style brush guard with foglights
2.5 HBS level kit
FX4 rims and skid plate
BFG AT KOs with probably 1/2 life left. exact size, can't remember but about a 33.5" tall and sized so they don't rub at all on or off road
Aluminum toolbox
Custom seat covers up front because driver's seat edge had a rip.
Tint windows
Step bars (great for my little ones to get up in there)
Tow package
122,500-ish miles (daily driver)
History
I bought it 3 years ago from a friend/dealer. Immediately had the spark plugs, fuel filter, oil changed, and level kit installed. Had differential fluids changed too. I've done Mobile 1 full synthetic oil changes about every 5,000 miles.
Known Issues (only minor)
One backup light bulb doesn't work
Driver's side washer fluid seems clogged (pump works fine)
Fuel door spring broke recently so the door comes slightly open sometimes (not always) ($35 part and a few screws but it just doesn't bother me)
Other
If you're a really into these trucks, you know that this year has a history of cam phaser issues or sounds. I read lots on the topic and am not convinced this is a kiss of death or even more than an audible issue but if you feel otherwise, know that mine does have some of the tapping sound. It runs super well and I trust it anywhere. My longest trip is 400 miles one-way and it was fine. It doesn't get great gas mileage or I'd take it everywhere. No fluid leaks-no worries.
I'm asking $12,000 based on my search for similar trucks within 200 miles of me on both autotrader and cars.com. If you're interested in mine, please price out competing trucks in my area before low balling me. Then low ball me. Then I'll say no thanks. Then someone else will appreciate a well-taken care of truck and I'll sell to them and have seller regret. Email is fine or call/text 850 510 8900. Thanks for looking
