Your Trucks Nickname

Unique & Different
My "handle" in this forum IS the name of my truck. Named after the HMS Warspite - a British battleship that was in every major naval battle in World War 1 and 2 - and took and gave a lot of punishment along the way. Like the battleship, this truck has had to endure off-road camping (yes, with a truck tent in the bed), towing a motorcycle trailer, trips through the southeast with a bed full of suitcases, and once half a ton of flooring and even worse, daily Atlanta traffic! She's definitely built Ford Tough!

The car's color was "Gunmetal Blue" which is like a bluish grey. It had smoked windows, fog lamps, a CB whip on the trunk, whitewalls turned in, and hubcaps off a 1987 Ford Truck, the kind that looked like mags. Working Security at the time, when I was in traffic people thought it was a police ghost car.
So the name was appropriate.

Yikes! If there's any consolation, at least you're going AGAINST the traffic! At least you're in a great neighborhood that didn't lose most of it's property value!

That's pretty cool! I dig names with a little history behind them. I named my 1985 Dodge Diplomat "The Gray Ghost" after the Civil War Colonel. I first saw the logo Gray Ghost on a friend's 200hp Mariner outboard motor. After some research into the reference, I thought the Colonel's story was cool.

Sadly my truck got the nickname around the house of baby bear by my mom. My dad has a 2003 f250 fx4 XLT with the 7.3 and she calls it papa bear. Mine is a 2003 f150 fx4 lariat with the 5.4. Don't have a good pic of them together
