Thank ya much. I had kind of a dinosaur way of powering it up, and I've wanted to switch to that. And one more piece of advice about the boot from the door to the cab. That passenger side is easy. take you a few minutes to do. The driver side.... not nearly as easy. Took me 2-3 hours and I screwed up my finger. So glad I don't have to do it again...

Yeh Im happy I wont have to screw with those boots at all. I was really worried about that but with this wire being behind the kick panel its made my install much easier.

Its annoying because you have nearly no room. I had to wedge my finger in the backside of the boot and barely hook the loop of wire I made so I could drag it through. very very tight gap, and just a total PITA.

With your setup do the floor board lights also come on when your turn the interior lights on with the doors closed? I'm getting ready to do this and want them to come on anytime the interior lights are on.

As long as you mean turning them on with the dimmer switch then yes. The map lights up top are independent.
