Default Wiring Foglights with Parking Lights on a 98 F150

So, I found out a way to wire foglights to turn on with parking lights & tail lights to obey the law in my province. I'm using a headlight switch without Fog. I didn't want to wire it to my parking lights/turn signal & have my foglights blinking too, nah I want both to stay on. 2nd choice I could just wire both parking lights together but both filaments in the bulbs maybe on at the same time or... cause a short somewhere because the parking lights should be off when turn signal is on IDK. But I'm going to try my 3rd choice using a relay.

I was looking at the headlight switch and the wires in the back to tap into for relay. There is the right way to getting the headlight switch off without force'n it out like most of you do, including me. @4:40 in the video it shows you How To by reversing the ***.

Now the wires in the back of that non-Fog headlight switch. I'm going to tap into the Dark Blue/White wire. That is a live wire when parking lights are on... I think it stays on when turn signal is blinking.

The connectors should look like this on the back of the headlight switch, Grey connector has the Dark Blue/White wire to tap in.

There is a how to on here somewhere to accomplish what you want. I can't remember what the thread is called and I'm on my phone otherwise I'd post a link. You just have to cross a couple wires and it'll turn your fogs on with your parking lights. Or you can do it where you can choose to have the fogs on and off with parking lights but you have to cross different wires and crack open the switch and file the ramp down

Hmm... I was going to put an on/off switch on top of having it turn on with parking lights.

I modified my 98 switch long ago, fogs come on w/running lights. BUT, slips my mind how I did it! I do recall using a small dremel at some point. Iduno, I have it in my notes out in the shop.

Regardless, never had a problem with it. I have been pulled over by the cods when using it. The fogs are bright enough to forget I don't have my heads on. Yup, they pulled me over for improper lighting in the past
