Default Wire harness hanging by oil filter

I recently bought a 1999 F150 with a 4.6. eng. While changing the oil filter and dripping oil all over the crossmember, a wire harness with a connector was just hanging in that area and kept getitng in the way. Looks like it should be secured somewhere and that something should be plugged into it as well Any ideas? I could see no logical place where it should go. See pics. Thanks.

EVO - for electronic variable orifice. You don't have one. The Navigators did so no worries.

EVO, huh, never would have guessed although the steering is right there close by. I read up on it a bit and see where you can buy a connector that looks like it would plug right into whats hanging there.
Since my ride isn't equipped with this system, I guess I will just ignore it although I cant believe that they intended it to just hang there if there is no application. Ill look again for a place to stash it although its very congested there and hard to see anything.
Thanks Jbrew!

No problem and yea, Ford should have at least capped it! However they did not, not that one anyway. I've seen them cap other extra connectors on their vehicles, - never these tho. Funny thing, I didn't get that extra connector on my 98 5.4L harness like others have. It's a late model as well.

Pack it full of dielectric before hiding it.
