Windshield Wipers Wont Do Their Job..WHAT COULD IT BE???
#4
its just whatever
i pray for your sake its not the motor...I just had to change mine cause I guess I burnt it up from trying to push 18 inches of snow off of my windshield...I'm from texas so this white stuff they call snow in oklahoma is new to me lol anyways it is a nightmare to change, they have to be in a certain position to get the thing out and lots of twisting, opening and closing the hood and a few select cuss words and it finally came out.

How about you examine the more simple issues that could be causing this before replacing any kind of a relay. The bolt simply holding the wiper down could be loose preventing movement. Also if it seems like it doesn't move at all the fuse may have blown. Check the basics first...

Try moving wiper arms by hand. If you can move them-the wiper transmission broke. If you can't move them-check for power and ground at the motor harness connector. If you have power and ground-you likely have a bad motor. If not- check fuses & relay.

it may be the linkage. can you hear the motor running when you turn your wipers on? have you checked fuse or relay? the motor is not hard at all to change and neither is the "wiper transmission" or linkage whatever you wanna call it. took me 5 minutes at work on thursday.
