Default Question about my last oil change...

I did an oil level check yesterday and found the level to be a bit low. I'd just bought the truck a month ago ('01 F150). So, I contacted the dealership I bought it from and asked them what oil they used. They told me 5W 20 Synthetic Blend, Motorcraft. So, I topped it off with said oil. I took it in for a oil change today. As I picked it up, I discovered that I DIDN'T tell the mechanic that I used Motorcraft Synth-Blend, and he put in regular oil.

Is this oil going to be ok, or do I need to change it out for the Synth-Blend immediately?

I'd always heard that once you go Synthetic, you DON'T go back. Is this the same with Synthetic Blend? Sorry for the lengthly post. Just want to make sure everything is alright.

You'll be fine. I've never heard that it was bad going from synth to conventional, just the other way around. Synthetic has a way of finding paths through gaskets that conventional does not. Your change interval should be shorter with the dino oil, that's it.
