Default Few problems

Little intro, my truck is a 98 scss 4.2 and has 200,395 miles original everything only thing that has needed replaced was shocks ball joints and oil and fuel maintenance. Codes 0171 and 0174 came up. Soon as they came up felt fuel power surging when driving. But that's to be expected. Ive read the intake manifold gaskets on these things are notorious for having a leak. Could this be my problem? I know its not easy trying to diagnose when not in front of the truck but just asking for what has happened to y'all and what you did to rememdy the problem.
