I have a 2001 Expedition and am looking for a grill guard. I see an ad on craigslist that is a grill guard for a 1999-2004 F150. The front end of both trucks looks very similar and was wondering if it would fit my 2001 Expedition?

Shouldn't have a problem. The designs were very similar. Almost all front end parts from an f150 work on the expedition.

Yes, as long as it is the same year it should work fine. Be careful of minor changes in both vehicles by year.
A lot of the parts are interchangeable.
As far as I am concerned, the Expedition is an F150 with a cover and seats.
I have some Expedition center caps on my truck (those things fly off the F150's and Expeditions like there is no tomorrow).

Yes speaking of the years there were changes (atleast on f150's) from 98-99. They changed the valence and the bumpers.
