Default where to mount CB ant.?

ok on my 01, where would be a good place to mount my dual 4ft whips? I want to do it on the front corners of my bed. but I dont want to drill 8 holes in my bed. just in case I need to sell my truck. what have yall done? any ideas?

In the front corners you will soo two big holes in the stake pockets. Make some L brackets and bolt through there with big fender washers. I did this for a while until I built a headache rack and put it up there. Its kind of a pain to put the bolts in but it works.

hmmm that is a great idea. but eventually id like em to be on the top side so theyre above the cab. but tomorrow ill try that. thanks man.

does CB ant. have to be grounded?

Ya. Has to be mounted to steel. I believe. May want a second opinion on that.

its safer for them to have some sort of metal to metal contact.
