Exclamation Where is the CrankShaft Position Sensor?

Hi could someone please tell me where it is located on a 2001 4x4 4.6l v8 f150. Ive spent countless hours trying to find it and would appreciate it if someone would please post a picture of where it is or at least direct me to it. thank you

Good day,
It is on the bottom front of the motor, kinda under the A/C compressor... It bolts through the timing chain cover... You have to loosen the A/C compressor and slide it out away from the motor to remove the sensor, as it is a bit long... I'll post a pic tomorrow if you can't locate it...

Yeah that. If you are looking at the motor head on, it's to the very bottom left. Only sensor down there, kinda hard to miss.

Thats what pepboys was gonna charge me! Any way i just cleaned the part with electrical parts cleaner and it worked! Well at least for one day and now im back to the same problem and i cant get the ac condenser loose. How did you change yours?

Take the belt off. Leave the A/C connected. Pull the 3 bolts out of the A/C compressor. Then you can remove the CKP sensor. More than likely it is bad and needs to be replaced.
