4.6 or 5.4?

Intake ( or Gotts mod ), tuner, gears, exhaust, pullies are usually your first round of bolt on performance wise.

Not being facetious, I'm curious as to why you think you need more HP? Where does you truck seem to be lacking, specifically?

I have a programmer but never once thought, before or after the fact "oh man, I sure could use an extra XXhp".

I mean if you do a lot of towing or plan to hit the drag strip, there are more ways to make the truck "feel" more powerful than by gaining 25hp.

You did not know that butt dyno's feel better with 25 HP?

But I agree. Why 25 HP? In all truthfulness, you feel torque, not HP.

I guess mine's not finely tuned to feel 25. As for choosing 25, maybe it's just a numbers game? He wants more than such and such a vehicle so he can brag? But unless he hits a dyno it's probably 25 less than it came with from the factory due to age and mileage.

Even with the mentioned mods, at what RPM does the extra 25hp present itself? I dunno about everyone else, but I usually keep it under 3k RPM and have never hit 4k except a couple times when getting on the highway. I certainly don't hit them enough to be able to notice such a measly gain.

Yeah, pretty much a tuner would be the easiest way to get HP & TQ. A custom tune will do nice also. I've heard MPT has really done well as of late.

And it feels underpowered compared to the Dakota for a pretty simple reason... It goes without say the half size dakota is a lot lighter than a full size F-150...

My family is in agriculture and I'm in ffa so I could use a boost to help towing and such. And 25 was really just a number i guess. I just want to get 250hp
