I ran 2" spacers all around on my factory wheels for a while with a set of 33s... No problems, on a factory 16" wheel it only puts the mating surface 1" from the wheels centerline into the negative offset (about -24mm)... Looked and functioned great...
Follow torque specs and if they have studs use loc-tight
I wouldn't worry about some little 2" spacers knocking your wheels out to a -24 offset or whatever... But if you have aftermarket wheels that are already -22 I wouldn't go throwing 2" spacers on

I also had 1 1/2" spacers with studs in them, the other kind with just holes put too much stress on the studs. And from experience buy good quality hub centric spacers or hub centric rings for the spacers because I didn't know any better and started hearing a squeak now and again and it ended up being 3 broken studs on each front hub. If they are not hub centric they will shift. Oh yeah if you do go with spacers make sure you use locktite.
