Question What's the best way to remove Exhaust Carbon Restriction NO DTC

What would be e best way to clean the catalytic converter? It is still working fine without any DTC & MIL. I Vacuum tested it and it show symptoms of exhaust restriction. The DPFE sensor made of aluminum had A DTC due to Excessive EGR flow. I replace it with plastic one at came from Expedition Engine.

There really isn't a way to clean them. You could hammer on the skinny pedal a few times, but other than that you'd have to replace it.

Do they get red after a long drive? Does it feel doggy? Those are symptoms of a clogged cat.

No, it's only partially restricted.

You can remove the cats and physically soak them in hot water and soap.
