Default What Size Rear End?

I have a 97 F-150 I know that the gear ratio is 3:55ls. I want to upgrade
to 4:10ls, But will I have to do anything other than change the ring and
pinion? I would also like to know how to find the rear end size if any one could help.

ring and pinion swap would do the job.... thats usually how you do a GEAR swap, is with the ring and pinion GEAR.

^ What he said.. Basically you answered your own question. Ring and pinion is how you change the gear ratio.

if you change the ring and pinion gear ONLY, then yes, it will still be limited slip...

Also, is your truck 4x4, if so you'll have to change the front gears as well.
