what should I do first to my truck?
Recently bought a 2000 f150 4.6 xlt 4x4 and would like to know what mods to do to it first?
(mind that I'm 17 so price is a big thing lol)
Already got the deck in and an annoying horn so those 2 are down
Planning on adding something to it before July and then August when I have the money.
(will have around 2-2.5k to fool around with)
Thanks for looking!

Change all the fluids.
Inspect for worn out suspension parts, replace if needed.
Fix any rust.
Perform a tune up.
That should probably take up a couple weeks of your allowance.

Truck has 75k on it (46602.8 miles) and only rust on it was the rocker panels and I changed those already. Bought the truck for $800 which seems like a junk truck, but a old guy owned it who never got to drive it so everything is mint. Brand new inspection and all fluids are done.

I guess you could turn up the tbars to level the truck, maybe a new set of wheels, new air filter AMSoil or another dry element and do the Gotts mod, and a tuner and tint if thats legal where you are from.

Gotts mod does exactly what to the filter? Also got a set of wheels to recommend? Was thinking something cheap but black.

What. Sounds like you got a steal of a deal.
Get an Edge CS/CTS or SCT Livewire.

What kind of tuner would you recommend? My topper is tinted to the max, but yet again its a topper lol. Tints are only legal to a certain tint level (not sure). Also forgot to mention the truck is a 2 tone white/gold. (oxford or whatever I aint an expert)

Should be almost free
You can "crank" your T-bars for free to make the front level with the back for free (basically free lift) I am running 33's with a crank, ~35's are possible
Search on the forum how to do that.
Then look @ a 3" body lift, very inexpensive for these trucks.
$150 body lift and a crank/level and wheels and 35" tires and it will look like a whole new truck.
