Im about to boot up my Blutooth OBD scanner with Torque Lite or Dash. I haven't use it on a Ford before. I use Carista on my Audi for simplified soft-coding of the different options, plus OBD.

Mostly for Android, but works on iOS too...

I got this one as well and it works well. I've been using forscan on my laptop and you can get pretty much everything. Haven't used the android version but it's 5$. I like the PC version which is free other than being able to program PATs stuff.

The problem is, when the truck is turned off, the light resets. It may take 5 minutes of driving or 30 to get the light to come back on.

Anyway, I figure I need a scanner. What scanner will fit the bill on the cheap? Thanks!
I downloaded Forscan for my laptop. Then I paid $10 for a 1 year license . I have many Elm327 and mini-vci adapters but only got the wifi elm 327 to work. Today i receive the Forscan OBDLink EX adapter $36 made for Forscan and will be testing that. So far I was able to see all codes and activate my ABS pump and and more.

There is a thread specifically about Forscan. No need to cruise through really old threads to tell your story. This one is 4 3/4 years old

Another victim of the Related Threads "feature," I'll bet. Dammit, I wish they'd let us turn that off! 🤬
