How are your auxilliary lights wired?
I'm in the middle of wiring my Hella driving lights and the manual says to tie them in with the high beams so they switch off when the lights are dipped, but I'm tempted to tie them in to either the side lights or a constant wire so I can use them whenever... I bought them as ditch lights as I live in before Kansas...

Cool thanks... Everything is installed now, but I can't get the lights to come on. Aaaaargh! I've checked and double checked the connections and that its wired correctly, I've replaced the fuse and the relay and have a new switch to try in the morning... Not too happy

I don't think it can be a ground issue as the harness goes to both battery terminals. I ran a multimeter across the fuse holder and it shows 12v so I reckon that's fine. I couldn't get any continuity reading through the relay which is why I replaced it, but the new one was no different. The only thing I'm not 100% sure of is the green and black wires that go into the lamps. They MAY be the wrong way round, but bulbs should work both ways anyway right? I tried the purple wire hooked up to the + battery terminal also instead of the high beam wire to make sure it wasn't that.... I'm totally stuck, and don't want to start clicking everything back together till they work, so the truck is immobile until then :/
