You want some sort of balancing pipe. Otherwise it will sound like crap. Also Dont go bigger than 2.5" piping unless you have engine work done. The stock 4.6/5.4 can barely fill the pipe stock. An like norcal said H-pipe with chambered and X-pipe with straight thru.

4x4dave I have a Borla and absolutely love it. Had to go thru a few different ones to get the length I needed but finally its setup is decent. Not too loud while crusing, but will wake the dead when hammering on the skinny pedal..

jferg92 Yeah small world. I have spend many paychecks buying AMS parts when I hade my 5.0L mustang.

No engine codes and as long as all smog is in place you'll be fine. I'm running OBX-R stainless exhaust lightning exit. X-piped and straight throughs. Sounds great and very minimal drone.

Carcrazygts2 you have a borla too? Which muffler? I got the proxs and it's a tad bit to quiet, although it will be perfect when I get my longtubes on! I do love them on the highway, no drone!

I figured i was the only one on the forum with a borla setup haha.

Pacesetter with polished ceramic coating, no cats. Full 3" mandrel bent. 3" Magnaflow SS tailpipe. The headers come slip fit but I had 3 bolt flanges welded on because I didnt want any leaks. No clips. Dont have a camera worthy of recording.
