Default 2000 F150 Speedo and Tack not working

Hi new to forum and looking for help fixing my truck. 2000 f150 2x4, 4.6. Had signal light on lr quit. Put in new flasher and that was not the problem. Took colum apart and tested multi function switch. Power going out of switch to harness. Found bad section of harness at rear of truck repaired and now signals work BUT:
Guages did not work, found blown fuse, must of shorted something while working.
NOW tack and speedo do not work but all other guages and instruments work. Have checked all fuses and all good.
So what is next????????

Thanks

Unfortunately I do not have a reply but a similar problem and would appreciate some help as well. Newly acquired 2002 with manual transmission. Odometer is stuck at the same mileage number and the speedometer does not move, all other gauges work. Replaced the VSS sensor on the trans (only 25 bucks) did not work. I've searched through the threads and have more questions than answers. The truck has 17 inch wheels and tires, speedo recalibration?????? thanks

After many hours of trying to fix problem I took to a local electrical shop. They tell me my cluster is shot and needs new one and then have it towed to a ford dealer to to have it re calibrated to the security sytem will let it be started.

If you dont care about mileage, you may be better off getting a used cluster out oof a junkyard. A lot cheaper, and all they would need to do is flash it so it syncs with the truck. If mileage IS an issue, you probably would have to send it in. I dont think the ford dealer is too fond about syncing the mileage, so what ive been told.

I don't believe their assessment at all. If you believe it's the cluster, buy one used off ebay and trade the guts.

PATS may be an issue but I'll let someone else chime in on that.

Got the truck home and took dash and cluster apart and the cluster is fried. I posted some photos on another post.
