I have read numerous posts and conversions on every f150 forum i could find but still cannot find the answer i am looking for so ill give it a try on this forum....
My truck is a 2002 F150 5.4L 4x4, i currently have the torsion bars adjusted so the truck sits level, however, i would like to simply lift it 2 inches. I was wanting to remove the stock 2 inch blocks in the back and put 4 inch blocks and im looking for the best way to lift the front??? The main issue i did find everywhere is to NOT use aftermarket 2 inch torsion keys, being it could wear down front end parts quickly. I dont really want to do a body lift if i dont have to. What is the safest and best way to simply raise my truck 2 inches from where it sits now?

If tire size is a factor at all, im currently running Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's 265/70/16. Next month before the snow falls, im throwing the same tire on but slightly bigger 265/75/16 but in a Revo 2.

There's not much to offer as far as suspension lifts at that height. Throw the four inch blocks in and crank the torsions all the way, that should be about 2". Most suspension lifts are at least 4".

Might be a dumb question but is it possible to convert the front shocks to struts/coil-overs and add the spacer as how it would be done on the '04+ trucks?

If you have alread leveled there is only about 1" left in the stock keys. I have ReadyLift torsion keys, and even with them maxed out the front was only 2.25" over stock. I could only put a 3" block in the rear to keep my level.

i would go with 2" body lift. so the suspension would be stock. plus it would hit bumps better and have more travel

The only problem I see with a body lift is don't I have to move the bumpers and modify the steering?

With a 2" they do not offer bumper brackets. They only come with 3". And you get a spacer that fixs the steering issue. But you also have to hack up the radiator fan shroud.

My brothers 03 has the 3" and it cools just fine. Never a single overheating issue. The gap guards and side steps on his make the frame rails almost unnoticeable under the truck. If you weren't looking for it you wouldn't see it.

i love my PA 3"er i would recommend that with the tbars cranked, you could fit 35's
