My guess would be the whine/humming noise would be the tranny
how loud is it? is it a sharp hum or just like a little whirring noise?
thats a lot of miles for that price. how it looks is irrelevant if the motor needs a lot of work or your tranny needs to be rebuilt. the lift, wheels and tires dont really add any value to it either so take that out of consideration besides the fact that you like the truck. just dont think that should add to the price
