XLT's with the Fx4 package had dark shadow grey flares and as an option in 03 a grey bottom half 2 Tone. Lariat FX4's had silver 2 tone or just flares or beige i believe. All the Supercab ones i've seen have 3:55's and the Supercrews I've seen have 3:73's and the FX4 package was for 2002-2003 they had specific wheels the 2 tone flares grey honeycomb grilles the rancho shocks i think the Supercabs had LT rated Tires and 3:55 or 3:73 Limited slip rear axles along with Skid plates and a 4.6 or a 5.4 V8 and a 4R70W transmission. Not much chrome either just bumpers and running boards ( black boards on the supercrew Xlt's unless you ordered the chrome ones ) The late 03 XLT's with the 2 tone had a red tape stripe seperating the topcolor and bottom color and the Lariats i think had a brown or tan stripe.

Due to the fact that these trucks are so beefy, the XLT stands for Xtra Lettuce and Tomato to offset that. Well balanced trucks IMO
