It is a wireless one, same concept as the key fobs but requires a code to activate instead of a single button.

so you decided to not put it in the gas filler door? It does look like it may be too wide to fit though.

It is like a combination key fob. Its even programmed the same way. I wanted to put it in the gas door but it would hit the filler cap when I was test fitting so I had to go with my second option. Ill find a link when I get to a computer.
