Mine must be ready to last forever. Bish drinks the oil.

ah. like I said, if it's using any oil I can't tell it. it's staying within the normal hash marks on the dipstick lol.

that's normally how things work when garbage is brought up. or used tires too, you know they've been used before and the tread might come loose on you.

I doubt you forgot to refill otherwise you'd have found out the hard way a lot sooner than this.

I think it's more likely that it was the guy at work tampering with it than going that long with no oil. why does he hate you so much? any particular reason?
I figured that is what it was. It was about 35 degree and raining out yesterday when all this went down. It doesn't eat a drop of coolant, and there isn't a drop of coolant or oil on the driveway where I park every single night.

Also, the only thing that ever comes out of the exhaust is water vapor....

The guy hates me because he is a piece of crap who does his job like crap and I called him out on it. Then he failed to perform physical security properly (a big no no that can get us arrested) so I reported him...

Anything is possible when you don't like someone. Where I park at work I am usually kind of hidden.

I also took my truck to the dealer last week to diagnose a misfire. I wonder if they did it on accident/purpose? Who knows.

This is my question. I have never been even a hair low on oil between oil changes. I am usually religious on my oil changes. I don't notice any leaks/burning oil. I feel like loosing this much oil I would have definitely seen a leak or at least smelt/seen some burning oil. I lost 5.5 quarts of oil!

But at this rate I should be able to see right?

I have even had people behind me while I get on it to see if I am burning oil at higher RPMS.

Do recall purchasing 5 quarts oil to change it ? Any full quarts of oil left sitting around?

There must be some way to tell lol.
No, I usually do my oil changes with my wife car which I do every 6k miles. She drives twice as much as me.

Can't be much more than 6k miles. I drive 1000 miles a month. Even if I haven't changed the oil since September I still only went 5-6k miles depending on my extra trips.

This is the problem, I am pretty sure I changed the oil in December. I have 3/4 of a quart but that's from my wife car.

At this point I am stumped....

But, how much oil does it use between changes, you know, before this even happened?

Maybe I missed that part lol

thought I mentioned it. As far as I could tell from before....none or very little.

I did accidentally leave the PCV disconnected for about two days last week when I was diagnosing my misfire.

Washed and waxed it. I have to get another UCA so I cranked my T-bars back up since I have to get an alignment anyway.

Yea, mine doesn't as well. I let it go to 5000 miles just once to see if I noticed any loose. nope.

Well yea, hope it isn't hurt. You'll have to keep an eye on it.
