Thank you for the thoughts. Its weird watching the water slowly come up and knowing there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. Its even weirder watching homes and docks float down the river.

You would think after the rain stopped everything would have been fine.

Heading to Branson, MO, this weekend, we rolled in to the McDonalds over the highway in Vinita OK to a belt shredding itself. Luckily, my parents were only about an hour ahead of us in the RV, so they dropped the car, and my mom came and got us. So my truck rested at the Truck Stop til Sunday.

Sunday afternoon, we rolled into the gas station after grabbing a new serpentine belt, Idler, and Tensioner. Got the belt off immediately, and nothing was seized up, so we threw the new belt on, and away we went.

For about an hour, then the truck died, and I coasted down the shoulder to an off-ramp. Fuses good, fuel reset switch good, battery is good. Have no idea what happened. Needless to say, parentals weren't happy, so we loaded it onto the dolly, moved over to a strip mall, and took out the driveshaft for the ride home.

Waiting to hear the verdict, but I'm feeling a fuel pump in my future.

UPDATE: Mechanic rolled it into the shop this morning. Fuel pump went out @ 207,000. Within a work day they got the new one in and ready to go. Picking it up tomorrow. Labor was comp'd and fuel pump was discounted heavily. The mechanic charged us for replacing the belt during other maintenance a while back. Wasn't too happy, but they felt pretty bad about it too. Hopefully my truck blues are done for a while.
