ok, ill stick with what i have. Thanks

Ive thought about the retro fit, and it just looks odd, it looks good dont get me wrong, just odd. The headlights will be a, well projected light and the fogs will be the same. It doesn't match IMO. Kinda throws things off balance. IF i decide to go with HIDS, they will be white, not blue. And if you've never driven or rode in a vehicle with HIDs, your are missing out! The light is so much crisper and clear just in what your seeing. There is no comparing HID's vs halogen. Just my opinion. I know this is a hot topic of just about every forum out there.

Thing is. Done wrong, other drivers won't see a thing. Remember that

The only vehicles you should be riding in that has HIDs is one that has actual HID projector headlights. Whether it's from factory or retrofitted. Otherwise you're doing more harm than good, and you're also cutting yourself short on how far you can see even though it "looks brighter" it actually doesn't project light any father than a halogen, it actually shines less distance than halogens. HIDs in halogen housings just scatter the light all around up close to the vehicle instead of throwing the light down the road where you need it. You need to see where you're going, not where you are.

This is very true as well. You just blind other drivers in oncoming traffic with a horrible glare, which could cause an accident.

I just don't wanna see anyone get hurt because of someone's poor decision in putting HIDs in halogen housings. And I absolutely hate getting the glare from some douchebag who has HIDs in halogen housings coming towards me. It pisses me off more than the way people drive around here. But if I'm in my truck they'll get it right back when I throw my high beams on

Hey, what do you guys think about these headlights? Think they would match the fogs i just put in, or should i just leave it alone?

Amazon.com: Ford F-150 / Lightning SVT Harley Black OE Style Replacement Headlights Headlamps 4pc Set: Automotive
Not sure why anyone would think the black lightening heads would look bad on you truck but I say go for them. With the wheels, black grille, and other accents you have on your truck I think the black lighting would complement it very nicely. And yeah, stay away from HIDs unless it is a legit HID headlight, and I don't mean those cheap wannabe HIDs off of eBay either, lol. Every time I get blinded by someone driving around with HIDs improperly done I give it right back with my hi beams. Oh, I'm a bit partial on the black lightning heads.

Yeah what they said!!! When I ran my HIDs I was never flashed one single time though .... Weird...my headlights would come about 6-7" from the top of a standard cars trunk lid which is probably why I wasn't blinding the hell out of people... I just can't justify 600$ on headlights right now. 4" lift, and some vinyl wheel wraps next year and a built 4r70w are the next big things unless I find a single cab 01-03 7.3l then she gone'
