Ran into that problem in the past. Heating them from doesn't even work lol. Yea, coarse thread fills with a little too much corrosion for that. I had to pop the tops off and cut a groove on some. Others I had to drill out with a solid cobalt (M42) bit.

I replaced them w/15mm hex flange. There is also 2 two sizes Ford used for the seats and seat/seat belt combo fasteners...big and bigger. Lol, I can't recall the sizes off hand. But yea, run them thru vs taking them out IF you can. That way you'll save yourself the trouble of re-bunging, inserting, tap or thread new holes. You don't want to go thru that hassle if you don't have to...time consuming.

Also, if you use Quikstix Blue (loctite) on the new bolts, they won't corrode up like that again. Plus you won't have to recoat that stuff all the time. I removed the seats quite a bit when cleaning the truck up in the past. First time was a royal PITA, but now, - 5 minutes max and they're out.

Yea those can be a headache...I know lol..

Well dang that doesn't give me hope lol. Once I find the time I'll probably cut them out and replace them. Thanks for the tips

Picked my truck up Wednesday, rockers and corners replaced, and buffed.
Today rolled over to 300k miles.
Happy week.

I did all 4 of my doors with 1 roll. I would say another roll for the roof, maybe 1.5 rolls (for a supercrew, less for Scab or regular).
I would say 3 rolls would do it all (doors and roof, back of cab under window) easily.

The passenger front, right where the rubber meets the hard line at the caliper
