Could be. No braking issues perceptible from the drivers seat. The pads did last 3 years though. So considering the truck is dad's DD for now and he won't be driving too much. So I figure next brake job, should be no trouble to do calipers and rotors too. Hopefully. Today Was an easy job though, no trouble compressing the pistons back or anything.

I just bought 3 packages of Peel & seal w/ aluminum backing at Lowes. I can get Dynomat for Cost but even at cost it's still loads more expensive than peel and seal.
I found a thread on another Forum where the guy broke it down by the numbers..
P&S 6"x25' = 1800sq inches for $16
DM kit will have 572sq inches for $170
I don't like to cut corners and I don't mind paying for the best in my lane; this seems like a reasonable and cost effective route.
Here's a quote from the FJ thread I found where a guy broke down his thoughts on the matter. I wouldn't treat it as Gospel but I'm giving it some considerations.

Will do the roof, walls floor and all on the 1999. to just make it quite and tight..
Did my 2005 Chevy Kodiak crew cab with it. Or part of it still like the back 2 doors and walls. Before I put it on the front doors it sounded like you were shutting a lid on a grain bin. After its more like a town car, solid and quite. Thinking I have 9 rolls left, that should finish mine up.
Will also be doing the shade top on my Kubota M4700. The material is gone from it making it 3x louder then before.
Like u wish I had done something with this stuff years ago. First got some of it from the pipeline that ran across our property. Coumbia Gulf was using some of the stuff on a pipe. And I asked it I could have a few feet to try out on something. Guy tossed the a case of it into my 1949 Willis jeep. It did wonders for that old jeep. That was in 1976

Anyone know how many rolls of peel and seal it would take me to do my truck? I would definitely be doing the doors and probably the roof, not sure about the floor as I don't know how to take the carpet out and I don't have big enough tools for the bolts that hold the seats in.
