Plus all the bracketry for them wasn't primed correctly when they were painted, so they all rusted under the paint and the paint has flaked off and looks like sh*t.
well if the truck is supposed to be yours, he shouldn't have an issue. and yeah why keep them at that point

Well he says he's "letting me drive it" but he lets me do almost any other thing to it lol. He never worries about the truck either. And something funny is, I brought up to him that the shocks on the truck were shot and brought up them needing to be replaced, and he said "it's not bothering me" well no duh lol you never drive the damn thing. They're 185k mile shocks I think it's time

I know I'm replacing the rear bumper with a heavy steel aftermarket but I'm not sure if I'll go with a heavy front bumper. Either way I'll have some sort of 12k lbs winch, a second battery and other goodies adding extra weight to the front.
Messaged you. Get back to me, thanks!

Yeah everything is factory. It sits soooo much lower than my truck now. Probably because I have the FX4

Installed my new RS5000 1-2" lift shocks this morning. All went pretty smooth other than having to cut the stud off the top of one of my old shocks since it stripped. No more front end squeak now and it rides the best it has since I leveled it.

I gotta start getting some posts in. Been a member since 2013.
Anyway, I'm building a dual 12" sub box for under the rear seat of my Lariat. Just doing some final cuts and trial fitments.
I'll have some pics and measurements in a bit in case anyone is interested.

After sitting on the back porch for 2 months, my "freebie" N-fabs have finally found their way onto my truck. A little bracket modding was in order, since they're off a 2014. I've never been a fan of mounting to the sheet metal, so I'm already designing some frame mounts for them. While I'm at it, maybe some small steps for bed access. It's not a big deal now, but might come in handy once the lift is installed.
